I’ve purchased two products online from Peter Mark and I’m so impressed with the service that I felt I needed to write this review. I purchased a product yesterday and it arrived today! This is so much better than dealing with a UK based website that seems to take forever, not to mind it’s a right buzz kill when you get caught for customs. I hope their online shop goes from strength to strength because the range, speed, price, and customer service is top notch. Special thanks to Gavin and the team on the customer service helpline.
I am extremely disappointed with the service that was provided to me at one of your salons in Blanchardstown L2. I was booked into an appointment on 21/12/2020 for highlights. The hairdresser refused to work on my hair due to its condition after she carried out a strength test. I can understand that. However, I was in the salon on 14/12/2020 to receive a patch test. I do not understand why a strength test was not carried out then, saving me from wasting my time coming to my appointment and unnecessarily booking a day off from work for it. This has left me with an inability to make an appointment anywhere else before Christmas as most places are booked up. I have sent an email to customer service, however have not received a reply. I will not be back.

Turned up at 5.30 appointment today in rathmines with my 9 year old for a trim. I was told I got the appointment wrong. "We would never give a 5.30 appt". Well guess what you did!!!! Blaming the customer AND turning away a 9 year is bad bad business. Woeful front if house care. Neither my daughter or I will return.
Dealt with Peter Marks online recently, contacted them about a damaged good, came back to me within minutes and product came in the post the following day. Excellent service! Dealt with Andy.
Last year (the last time salons were opened) I went in with my hair down to the bottom of my back, asking just to give it some life and movement, like a few soft layers around the face and maybe a bit in the back to give it some volume. I showed stylist the reference photo as well. I didn't get the layers I wanted, ended up with only two weird layers on my very long hair and it looks weird. The stylist kind of talked me into having it blow-dried to look "natural", but actually put a bunch of waving or curling products in it and it turned out waaay wavier than my natural hair, almost curly. It looked ok, until I washed it and blow-dried it straight at home and realised there's no layers, the one that is there is crooked and the bottom hair looks so thin and frizzy. I had to cut is straight across to revive it. Also cut my own layers around my face to frame it, as the stylist obviously didn't get that part. Maybe the stylist was a bit old school with outdated techniques, whatever it was it is the worst haircut in my life and I will never be going back.
Would totally recommend their online shop to everybody - delighted with the standard of service and speed of delivery! Was able to return an item no hassle, and the exchange item arrived the next day! They have a fantastic range online of GHD products and others. Also full range of hair care products.

Again like one of
the previous reviewers I had the same experience where colourist in Dundrum Town center would not colour my hair after a hair strand strength test.. This is understandable but frustrating as I had been in the salon on 2 previous days to get a base colour test and then a tone test. Neither times did they do a strength test. The big focus was that I had not been in the salon in a year for a colour. I had managed on root touch ups for the last year.. Very frustrating just before Christmas.. Lucky wasn't going anywhere.

The worse experience of all !! Unpleasant staff, unprofessional and rude. I do not recommend. I paid 80euro for a blow dry and a cut, the all experience lasted 20 min, a pure robbery, then waiting for my friend to finish her hair, I was ask to leave and wait outside because they need it my seat.... 80 euro put I can’t have a seat for more than 20 min ... some unknown hair salons are doing a way better job than that! To avoid at all cost.
I went to one of their students in Dundrum main street. Visit was for 5pm. She was slower than a sloth and I am not exaggerating. It took her 5 hours to do highlights, which turned out to be different from what I wanted. I had to wait over a half an hour with wet hair for someone who could blow dry it for me. At one point I said to one of the hairdressers to give me a hairdryer and I would dry my own hair. It was already so late I resigned from having my hair cut. At the end when I was paying, the same hairdresser asked: "Do you want your change or will I give it to the student?" I was shocked! I left the place at 10pm without a cut. Yes...I was there from 5pm till 10pm. Will never ever come back there again. Total lack of professionalism.
I recently visited Peter Marks Liffeyvalley for an appointment with my stylist Debbie who has been looking after my hair every 4 weeks since Nov 2017 for tint, highlights, cut and styling.
During lockdown I persevered and finally let my natural hair (grey roots) grow and after 7mths and a reassuring consultation with Debbie I took the plunge and made an appointment to have my colour cleansed.
I would like to say a huge thank you to Debbie for the amazing job she did.
Debbie spent 4 hours on her feet from start to finish of my transformation, staying with me all the time and all while wearing a facemask and PPE gear. Which I am sure is not that comfortable.
Debbie constantly reassured me during each phase of the process - cleansing my hair at the basin, full head of highlights, tint between highlights, toner at the basin, wash/condition, hair cut and finished of with a gorgeous boho hair style.
I am absolutely delighted and so happy with the final results.
Debbie is always so professional and friendly and she always makes me feel fabulous when I am leaving the salon.
Thank you so much for my transformation.
Hi I buy ghd platinum on Style Club – North Earl Street, Dublin The only problem is the gap in the plastic near the iron keeps catching and pulling my hair. I back to the shop explain it to her and she’s say it’s like that I shouldn’t press hard r take much hair. So I ask her to do on my hair and keeps catching and pulling my hair but she say doesn’t. OMG WHY SHE DONT LET ME DO ON HER HAIR?
